PhD Studentships

Students interested in applying to QMUL through international scholarships programmes e.g.  Marshall Scholarships, Joint PhD scholarships with the China Scholarship Council (CSC), Bangladesh Capacity Building Scholarships, Pakistan Capacity Building Scholarships etc. should contact Dr Bray.

Post-Docs

We are currently seeking applications from exceptional candidates with a strong publication record in synthetic or biologiclal chemistry, possibly those who already have post-doctoral experience to apply to the EU under the FP7 Framework for either one of the  Marie Curie Intra-European Fellowships for Career Development (IEF), or one of the  Marie Curie International Incoming Fellowships (IIF) .  A range of projects are available in the areas of natural products synthesis, development of new synthetic methodology or chemical biology.  Prospective candidates should contact Dr Bray via e-mail providing a brief CV and publication list.MSc

Chemical Research

There is usually a position in the group each year for a student on the MSc Chemical Research degree.  Further details and applications should be made to the course tutor Prof Alice Sullivan. 

MSci (F152) Project Students

Students interested in carrying out their 4th Year MSci research module in the group should contact Dr Bray prior to making their project choices. 

Exchange Projects

Requests for positions for exchange students will be judged on individual merit.  Potential applicants should contact Dr Bray with details of the proposed exchange.

Summer Students

The group has been very succesful at obtaining funding for summer students.  Interested parties should first explore the schemes available e.g. The Nuffield Foundation prior to contacting Dr Bray before the end of February for the proposed year.
